A new LME project 2020 at St Augustine’s Tower in London
Venue: St Augustine’s Tower, Mare Street, London. It is an important historic and Hackney’s (East London) oldest building. The tower is all that remains of the old church of St. Augustine, which was built in the 13th century on the land owned by the Knights Templar. The church was renamed St John after the Templars were crushed. It has been restored by Hackney Historic Buildings Trust and is Grade I listed building.
